The Department of Public Works (DPW) is responsible for the construction and maintenance of all City-owned infrastructure and facilities within the City of Essexville and for providing a wide range of related services. The DPW is staffed by five full-time employees classified as Utility Specialists. The City is a co-owner in the West Bay County Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant where all of the City’s wastewater and comingled storm water is treated.
Department Services
The City, through the Department of Public Works and contractors, provides regular and seasonal waste collection, curb-side recycling, yard waste pickup, brush pickup/chipping and Fall leaf pickup services.
