Construction Board of Appeals

The Construction Board of Appeals is created under Act 230, Public Acts of 1972 as amended, and established and regulated pursuant to said Act 230 commonly known as the State Construction Code Act of 1972.  The Board is empowered to hear appeals and render decisions arising out of the City’s administration of the Building, Plumbing, Mechanical and Fire Codes as adopted by the City Council of the City of Essexville.

The members of the Construction Board of Appeals are appointed based on their experience and training and to indefinite terms by the City Council.
